The Wild Evel Knievel

Evel Knievel

I loved Evel Knievel in the Early 80's as my First Bicycle accident was in the name of Evel Knievel. Living in Washington State, I set up Tires to Jump over and preceded to Bike Down the Hill at a High Rate of Speed. I yelled EBOW K-neeBow as I crashed recklessly into tires without a Ramp.

I think this was the Wild Part of my life where I learned that what you see on TV is not something that you could try at home as I ended up with a Massive Concussion and in the hospital.

Every time today I still see Roby Knievel on the TV or any other Stunt rider, I think... Man that was stupid.

Weird Comic

Weird Comic

Since I have been collecting comics since I was little, but not collecting new comics only old ones. I have decided that today I will show a picture of Weird Comics. Yes that is a pun intended because it is a very weird comic. It just intrigues me to take a look at what is actually going on inside this comic.

One simple question that I should ask is that comics don't seem to have a Child Rating System in place. Understanding that comics are only drawings and look like cartoons there is a possibility that parents don't want there kids exposed to this type of violence at such a young ages so should we regulate comics too?

Since you might agree with this I thought I would bring up the overall argument that this is going to bring up. It's called freedom of the press. Now, does comic books fall under this PRESS title... I'm not sure, sometimes I know that they do.

Well not to get to far into this debate I just thought this was a weird comic.

Weird Carpet Clouds

Weird Carpet Clouds

These are the weird carpet clouds. This photographer did a great job of creating this look. If I flipped the image upside down would it look more like the living room of my house? Probably not, but it might look like your house.

Well I picked this picture for today's blog because I have always liked clouds. I actually wrote a very little poem when I was a kid about them, I will post it below, I hope you like it.

Dragons and Nights,
Horses and Spears,
May bring many tears,
to those who suffer
may look at the clouds
and Identify those people.

Well basically it is significant of Comulus Clouds because when I was little we used to look at the clouds and pick out little shapes and say look at the "WhatEver" just to see if other see it. I guess it was a good way to bring up a bright imagination.

Weird People Animals

Weird People Animals

Here is a Group of weird adults wearing odd costumes. Notice that no one is holding a Bag, which means that this is not Halloween. This means that these people decided to dress up and look stupid regardless of what time of year it was.

What I find weird here is that the Rabbit has his hands way up in the Air as to require all the attention while the others behind are just walking like they don't see the camera.

The people that really like the camera stand out even when you can't tell what they look like. Take Brad Pit for example, he used to dress up in a Chicken Costume... So how did they know he would be a good actor? It's because even in the costume the Pitt was so good at being noticed that it brought on the questions of his acting skills.

But here, I highly doubt that anyone is going to take this weird group of people for an acting job... none the less, Weird.

Weird Lights of the Paranormal

Weird Lights

This picture was taken by Rebecca Laine of Seattle, Washington. She states "This picture I took of my six-month-old son. I'm standing with my back to a sliding glass window; no other light sources in the room. My son was lying down and playing with his kick toy and then got up into a cute crawl pose. That's when I snapped this picture. I'm wondering what it could be!"

The Weirdest Part about this picture is that it doesn't appear to be a Photoshop Edit. The reason I state this is because if you were photoshoping something then you would want to actually make it look like something specific so that people arn't questioning what it is.

In this picture there is nothing specific behind the light. What is this light for? Where did it come from? Weird.

Weird Something

Weird Something

I wasn't quite sure exactly what this was, but I thought it was pretty weird looking and could use some commenting.

I'm not really sure but I think this is some sort of painting that someone has done. Since it looks so weird I wasn't sure if its digital or just someones really great hand work, either way I like it.

I have noticed a recent trend with people not really liking the DARK look off things, because they seems to make comments like... "That was so Dark" and it really doesn't bother me because I know Art is an expression of a feeling.

These Feelings are showing me that this is a Weird Person with some sort of Demented Feelings about the thing they are painting, Perhaps this weird bug or aliens or something like that.

weird NO sign

weird no sign

This is the weirdest NO sign that I could find. It seems that these people weren't quite expecting it to flood in there area to the point where you couldn't see what the sign actually said.

The weirdest part of this NO sign is that there is a person whith there hands up making in look like no screaming or flailing in the water.

As I'm not really sure... but it doesn't really matter it's just plain weird.

The Weird Vehicle

Weird Vehicle

I guess this vehicle isn't quite as weird as I would like to see it. I mean I think there are weirder...maybe.

Looking at pictures like this reminds me how odd some parts of the world are and how strange it seems to look at there customs compared to that of the American Customs. These cars might be completely normal in Europe but in the America's they are the Weirdest thing that almost no one would be caught dead driving.

Just thought I could point out the differences in the two places as two continents are all connected yet act completely different.

Weird Artist Hansen

Weird Artist
This Wird Photo and Information was found on Yahoo Today.

Strokes of Genius

Phil Hansen is not only tearing down the “gallery” walls that keep many people from seeing and enjoying art. He’s also showing us how it’s made -- all on the Internet.By KEVIN SITES, FRI JUL 13, 11:51 AM PDT

Phil Hansen stubbornly adheres to one artistic cliche. He's willing to suffer for his art.

Asked to provide a photo for Yahoo! News, Phil Hansen couldn't resist creating a composite image.

Take the giant portrait he made of North Korean leader Kim Jong Il as a protest against nuclear proliferation. He applied 6,000 adhesive bandages on a plywood backdrop. Then, using a quart-sized bag of his own blood, he painted Kim's face on the exposed gauze. His sister-in-law, a doctor, helped him draw the 500ml he needed.

Hansen shrugs off the experience.

"Five hundred cc's of blood seems like a lot, but it's just nothing," he says from the basement of his brother's house outside St. Paul, Minnesota, where he currently lives and makes his art. "I don't even have scars on my arms anymore from it."

It's not the suffering that really distinguishes Hansen's work (after all, it's hard to top Van Gogh) but his style and method for displaying it. Hansen eschews galleries, preferring to take his art directly to the eyeballs rather than bringing the eyeballs to the art — through the Internet.
An art school dropout, Hansen works as an X-ray technician by day, spending all of his spare time and money on his art. But his work, and his method of presenting it, has given him a huge audience.

His breakthrough piece was a time-lapse video of a two-day project called "Influences." He painted 30 pictures on his own chest, one over the other, with each picture representing an influence in his life. When he was done, he peeled the quarter-inch thick layer of paint from his skin and cut out a silhouette of his own profile. The video was streamed more than a million times on the Web — a cyber art phenomenon in which both process and final piece were revealed.

Hansen often uses the technique of pointillism, in which the canvas is dabbed with tiny bits of color, rather than fluid brush strokes, to create a larger image.

But he gives pointillism a modern twist. You might call it "kinetic fragmentism" — pointillism in motion.

For instance, Hansen completed an on-camera piece of paint-dipped karate chops to reveal a portrait of martial arts legend Bruce Lee.

Hansen's Ku Klux Klan piece aims to provoke questions about religion.

His works often have a political stance. Several years ago, Hansen devised an image of President George W. Bush by hand-painting the names of 1,700 coalition soldiers killed from the beginning of the Iraq War until April 2005.

"They're dying for George Bush," he explains. "They're dying for an idea that he had and unfortunately it wasn't a clear idea."

Covering the entire back wall of his brother's basement is a 7 x 14 foot mural of the Ku Klux Klan, made up from thousands of verses copied from the bible and individually cut out. It's a companion piece to an image of civil rights hero Rosa Parks — also made from bible verses.
Hansen says the idea was to show the far-reaching influences of religion for both evil and good.
Hansen's commitment to his own brand of pointillism is most evident in a portrait of the so-called Green River killer, Gary Ridgeway.

He made the piece by drawing one-inch portraits of each of Ridgeway's 48 female victims in various shades of light and dark. He then photocopied the drawings and cut them out into 12,000 tiny squares which he arranged, one by one, to reveal the killer's face.

Hansen says it's about remembering the victims — women all connected by the misfortune of having crossed paths with Ridgeway. The project took four months.

The detail work has taken its toll. Hansen holds up his right hand to show me a twitch he says he's had since high school, when he was first introduced to pointillism and became obsessed with it.

Hansen created his self-portrait 'A Moment' over the course of six days, oven sitting cross-legged for up to 12 hours straight.

His latest project used the Internet to connect his viewers to the art being created. He created a ten-foot, spinning, circular canvas in his brother's garage, then moved in there himself. Taking a week off work, he spent six days straight living in front of his web cam, sleeping on the floor, eating takeout and encouraging people to call him or email him with a "moment" that changed their lives.

"I'm really interested in how all of our experiences build together to create whatever world we live in," he said before starting the project.

He got over 600 responses. People from all over the world, from the United Kingdom to Romania to Botswana, told him their personal moments: their first time acting on stage; the death of a parent without being about to say goodbye; seeing the rainforest destroyed.
Starting from the center of the canvas, Hansen then painted their words, working out to the edges until the image they had collectively created was a face — Hansen's own — bordered by four hands.

"There's always someone or something, maybe even ourselves, supporting us," Hansen tells me by phone, shortly after completing the piece. "But at the same time there is some experience... trying to push us down. And somehow, as we move through life, most people end up kind of staying in the center, in the middle through that experience."

Strangely, Hansen says the jitter in his hand that has plagued him for so many years went away while he was making the piece.

Weird Odd Wild Picture

Weird Odd Wild

This picture seems busy yet it also doesn't. It seems to have just the right amount of balance between dark and light, busy and calm. Everything seems to go together very nicely as I believe this digital are was inspired by many other artists.

I would have to stick this one in the weird folder as it definatly makes other digital are look normal.

Simpsons Gone Wild

Simpsons Gone Wild

Since I am a pretty big fan of the Simpsons TV show I thought I would post something ridiculous that I found. The Simpsons Gone Wild. Here Homer is dancing about in a bra which by the way doesn't surprise me with all the weird and wild things that he does in all of the TV episodes.

I'm not sure I have seen this episode on TV because I think this is a little beyond the Regular TV ratings that the Simpsons generally receive on FOX, but since we are talking about FOX I'm sure its possible.

Weird Hairless Cat

Odd and Weird Cat

I have seen it all when it comes to some of the oddest looking things on this planet that is why I like to share my little hunt here with everyone. This is the UGLIEST cat I have ever seen. It has no hair and I'm sure there are people who would pay an arm and a leg for this thing. Then check out the eyes, two different colors... weird. No I honestly don't think this was a photoshop thing becuase these cats are already screwed up as it is so two different color eyes is beyond me.

I know that hairless cats are very rare, but seriously if this wasn't a house cat it would be dead after first winter. And why don't people who are allergic just get a dog, hamster, chinchilla or something like that instead of this Rat Looking Cat.

It just boggles my mind. Totally weird to me.

Weird Cats

Wierd Cats

Here is some really weird cats that I have found. They seem to sleep in a Ying Yang Position.

It actually looks like the owner of this make a circular thing that was carpeted then let the cats in there together to sleep. Like every other day this is just how the cats got used to a quite sleeping area... Maybe.

Like Ying Yang alone which is dictated by SOFT to HARD, the Ying and the Yang, these cats are Soft and could be Hard (Mean - Ruthless). This type of ying yang thing helps in making it really weird.

I hope you enjoy this quick little blog of interesting pictures that are weird and wild.

Weird Guy Walking

Weird Guy Walking

I don't really have much to say about this one. This guy just decided to go to the bar in his baseball tights I guess. Also I hardly think this guy plays baseball so why is he wearing those pants anyway.

Wild Oats

Wild Oats

Regardless of what this photo/picture is really saying it is pretty weird and wild to me. It really makes you go... what?! Or at least I did anyway.

It looks like they created this picture with Construction Paper and some Crayola Crayons. I think it's quite creative.

To let you know why this picture was created, it was created for a Band/group called Wild Oats. I would guess to find more information on them Google Wild Oats. You might end back up here, but doubtful.

The Future is Wild

Wild Weird

This picture really made me think. How about you?

First of all I thought this might be some type of fish bait or a fish finder thing. I couldn't imagine what else this type of thing might actually be for, except for fun or the future of aeronautics.

Either way, its pretty neat.

Have a Happy But Wild Independence Day

Independance Day

As we went out last night and viewed some massive fireworks held at Cranes Roost Park in Altimonte Springs Florida, I thought I would share the excitement with you.

Every Year there is something called RED HOT AND BOOM held at Cranes Roost Park in Altimonte Springs Florida on July 3rd.

This year the fireworks were spectacular as I have never seen just a great fireworks show. Even Disney's show wasn't quite this great.

They had three giant floats in the middle of this lake that simultaneously ignited the fireworks. The 20 minute fireworks spectacular was accompanied by many US Independence Day Music Tracks. The fireworks would fire continuously without silence or blank spaces. The Center, Main Float would launch the Really High Fireworks while the outer two floats would accompany with smaller roman candle like fireworks.

If I could only describe this in better detail you would be amazed.

It was Defiantly Wild.

Wild Graffiti Art

Graffiti Art

I Think as people continue to see more Urbanization they tend to want to spice things up a bit, and who can blame them. Yes it is cool to see a huge city but isn't it better to see a forest.

I think graffiti art is bringing back what people want, some spice. I posted this to dedicate to the wild artists out there that graffiti art should be shared.

Wild Fishing

Wild Fish

Just though this was an interesting picture, because it related to my weekend.

Every once in a while I decide to spend the weekend relaxing at the river with a fishing pool and some Lures and Bait. This is one of the many things that I like to do when I actually have the free time.

So to let you know how this picture relates is because
1) it has the word Wild on it.
2) I just spent my Weekend fishing and I caught a trout that looked almost identical to this one
3) My fishing pool even has the same type of handle. Maybe this person has the same type of rod that I have.
4) This is a Wild Fish, as in not raised in captivity.

So I ask myself why is this picture wild? Well, I guess it's pretty wild to the person fishing when they catch a trout. I know its odd that a trout doesn't put up much of a fight when they are trying to get away as your tugging them in.

It seems that a trout is a pretty week fish, but it sure tastes good.
